Story

In Love Me If You Dare, you get to see horror and comedy together, which is awesome. The film starts like a normal ghost film, with a scene of a bungalow on a terrifying night, a new bride crying, and the villagers getting scared by that sound. The film’s hero, Arjun, a YouTuber, tries to solve many puzzles.

Then he comes to know that a spirit is wandering in a mansion and she is killing people, but he believes that she is not a spirit but a made-up ghost. To find out this, he goes to that mansion and falls in love with that wandering spirit. Now, is that spirit real or not? If not, why is she doing this, and if she is a spirit, what will be the turn of their love in the future? To learn all these things, you will have to watch the movie Love Me If You Dare, which is one hour and fifty-eight minutes long.

Love Me If You Dare Review

Despite the weak screenplay and direction, this movie makes us feel one thing love is a feeling; it is not necessary that the person should be in front of you or that you should meet him every day; the person you love should have a love for that person in your heart, this movie makes us feel this very beautifully.

The movie has many surprises and changes in direction. The climax of Love Me If You Dare is good because everything turns out to be exactly the opposite of what we think in the story. The climax is emotional. The film makes you feel like a horror in the beginning and after that we get to see only romance. AD WISE MEDIA has dubbed it in Hindi which is fine.

Drawbacks of Love Me If You Dare:

The concept of the film was good but could have been executed better. After the interval, we are going to see something different. We will see many twists and turns like a horror film, but we are disappointed here. The director could not present the film’s second half in a better way.

  • Confusing: The plot can be a bit hard to follow with its non linear structure and complex themes.
  • Unlikable: The main characters are kind of crazy and destructive so it’s hard to root for them.
  • Dark: The film deals with dark themes that may not be for everyone and might be uncomfortable for some.
  • Slow: Some parts can be slow and dragged out.
  • Unresolved: The ending leaves some questions unanswered.

Technical Aspects

M.M. Keeravani’s background score is good but the songs are forgettable. The writing is bad which affects the music department. The artwork is good and P.C. Sreeram’s cinematography is excellent. The CGI is okay.

But the editing is poor which adds to the overall confusion. Director Arun Bhimavarapu has good ideas but can’t execute them well. The first half is somewhat engaging but the second half’s complex script spoils the film.

Rating

Love Me tries to be a horror thriller but doesn’t deliver. Ashish is fantastic, and the picture looks fantastic, but the plot is not unified or clear. The premise is good but the plot is messy and the twist is not satisfying. If you are looking for a thriller this film is not for you and can be skipped.

There will be two twists at the end you will see the hint of one in the beginning, but the second twist will surprise you. Watch it if you can. With your family this weekend
