Murshid Web Series Review
The trailer shows us Gangster Murshid Pathan, played by Kay Kay Menon. He is a former gangster who was released from prison early and felt the violence was behind him. Murshid’s son is a police officer, hiding his identity from others, saying he is the son of Gangster Murshid.
Somehow, Rival Gang knows about him and wants to kill him; in defence, Murshid will do everything to save his son from them. He will come back in his gangster colour to save his son. You will see blood and violence in this movie.
Farid (Zakir Hussain), a friend from his previous mischievousness, is here to add more chaos. It’s like in school when you think you have completed all your homework on time, and suddenly a teacher says there is a quiz tomorrow.
Murshid Characters and Acting
I want to focus on the show’s star, Kay Kay Menon. He is playing Murshid, a character we all have: that teacher who is very strict yet very considerate. He has this gruff exterior like you’ve wronged him when there must be a nicer side to him somewhere.
What do you think about the villain in the movie, played by Zakir Hussain as Farid? He’s like that annoying kid who forgets you exist, but when you two cross paths, the kid in question makes sure you know he exists. Let’s shout out to Tanuj Virwani and Vedika Bhandari for bringing some fun to the show.
